About Us
OUR VISION
We are DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT, INC. We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. When we say we are DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT, we are taking the necessary action to do so and not just speaking on it. Our dedicated vision is raising low income neighborhoods from its low socioeconomic status (SES), and creating self-sufficient, supportive, and unified communities . It's being proactive in solidarity to strengthen the communities. It is sharing the effort of the community wanting to do better, having respect and love for one another, and building generational wealth for future generations. We want to foster a better environment, help bring an interest and a desire to learn, encourage our youth to aspire to have a better education to fill those positions of power to fight against injustices within these communities. It is truly about building a prosperous environment to live in peacefully. spiritually, and with a good physical and mental health of optimism of achieving goals for all.
